Man in court charged with murder and sexual offence

A man has appeared in court charged with murder and committing a sexual offence against a dead woman.

Nina Denisova, 39, was found at a property in Henderson Drive, Dartford, Kent, on Saturday morning, police said.

She had injuries consistent with stabbing and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ernestas Juska, 20, of Henderson Drive, was remanded in custody when he appeared before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

He is due to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on Wednesday.

Police say the suspect and victim were known to each other.
