A roundabout at a junction of the M40 is due to be closed until Monday morning as part of a series of closures to resurface the road.

The A404 Handy Cross roundabout at junction four of the M40 near High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire and its entry and exit slip roads will remain closed until 06:00 BST on 16 September.

This weekend's closure marks phase one of the roadworks project.

It will be followed by a series of weeknight closures along the same stretch, from 21:00 to 06:00 BST, on 16, 17, 18 and 19 September.

The closures will also include both carriageways of the A404 between Handy Cross roundabout and Westhorpe Interchange (A4155), and all slip roads leading to and from this length of the carriageway.
