Three new blue badge spaces have been created while work takes place on the roof of a government office in Guernsey.

The States said it had suspended the blue badge space at Edward T Wheadon House while scaffolding was in place.

It said three spaces at the nearby Hospital Lane had been designated as blue badge spaces as a replacement.

An additional standard space for Edward T Wheadon had also been created, it added.

The States said essential maintenance works were needed on the roof of the building, but it remained open for business-as-usual operations.
