A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after five coaches caught fire at a coach depot in Warwickshire.

Fire crews were called after the blaze broke out at the Johnsons Coaches site on Liveridge Hill, Henley-in-Arden, at about 01:39 GMT on Saturday.

A 29-year-old man, from Redditch, Worcestershire, was arrested at the scene hours later and remains in custody, Warwickshire Police said.

Six other cars parked in the vicinity also caught fire, a force spokesperson added.

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue service said firefighters were at the scene for more than two hours.

In a post on Facebook on Saturday, Johnsons Coaches added: "We are aware of the fire incident at our depot and are actively working with the police and fire services to address the situation.

"We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the police and fire services for their prompt response and dedicated efforts."
