Two people have been charged with murder after a 59-year-old man was stabbed to death at a hotel in Blackpool.
Kevin Price's body was found by police inside the Garfield Hotel on Sunday.
Adam Saunders, 50, and Helen Kenyon, 38, both from Blackpool, have been charged with his murder, a Lancashire Constabulary spokesman said.
They are due to appear before Lancaster Magistrates’ Court later.
A post-mortem showed Mr Price, who lived alone at the property, died from a number of stab wounds.
Officers discovered his body after receiving a call flagging concerns about his welfare.
Mr Price's family have been receiving support from specially trained officers.
Det Chief Insp Simon Pritchard, of the Force Major Investigation Team said his "thoughts remain with Kevin’s loved ones", adding Mr Price's family had been told about the charges.
