Final summer open day at model train garden

A model train garden will be holding its final open day of the summer to raise money for charity.
In a post on social media, external, HSBA Garden Railway in Jersey said the final open day will take place on Saturday.
It said all proceeds from the event will go to Dementia Jersey.
Owner Curtis Stanier previously said the open days were "one of the highlights of my year" and children "loved the tunnels" where the trains go in and out.
Christmas open day 'likely'
Volunteers run miniature trains around the site, with train sounds played in the garden.
"The final open day of the summer happens next Saturday," a spokesperson said on social media.
A spokesperson said 2024 has been the "busiest" year of open days so far, adding about 500 islanders had attended each event.
HSBA Garden Railway said Saturday's event will be the third open day of the year, following on from one in June and one in July.
"The one in June was supporting Finni's Ark and raised £2,355.50," a spokesperson said.
"Our July open day was in aid of Healing Waves and raised £2,453.50."
A garden railway spokesperson said a Christmas open day was "likely" take place in December.
