Man dies after being pulled out of river

A man has died in hospital after he was pulled out of the River Soar in Leicester.
Leicestershire Police said it was called to reports of the man in the water near Castle Gardens at about 09:15 BST on Monday.
The force said the man died in hospital on Thursday.
Detectives are describing his death as unexplained and have appealed for information about what happened.
Det Insp Nathan Paddison, from the force's complex investigation team, said he would like to speak to anyone who was on the towpath at Castle Gardens on Monday morning.
A file has been prepared for the coroner.
