A second man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Coventry.

Police have been investigating after a man was seriously injured when he was shot in Far Gosford Street in Coventry, on 13 September.

A 35-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of attempted murder, West Midlands Police said, and has been taken into custody for questioning.

Mohammad Ali Khan, 31, was previously charged with conspiracy to murder, in relation to the incident.

Police said the victim continued to recover from his injuries and inquires into what happened were ongoing.

Anyone with information was urged to contact police.
