Girl, 14, appears in court after school stabbings

A 14-year-old girl has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of three people at a school in Carmarthenshire.
Teachers Fiona Elias, Liz Hopkin and a pupil were injured at Ysgol Dyffryn Aman in Ammanford last month.
The girl appeared via video link at Swansea Crown Court and confirmed her name, which cannot be reported because of her age.
She is also facing a charge of possession of a bladed article on a school premises.
Judge Geraint Walters told the court that the teenager will appear for a plea hearing in Swansea Crown Court on 12 August, and that a three-week trial date was fixed to begin on 30 September.
