Small spaces added to Guernsey car park
- Published
More spaces for small vehicles are being added to a car park in Guernsey.
States of Guernsey said eight spaces measuring 12.1ft (3.7m) in length by 6.9ft (2.1m) in width would be added to the Salerie car park on Sunday.
The States said the spaces - designed to encourage people to use smaller and more environmentally friendly cars - would be installed where the recycling bins were.
The majority of the other spaces in the car park would be repainted during the day, meaning most of the site would be closed while work was carried out.
