Major road closed for work until September

A major road will be closed until early September to allow work to increase traffic capacity on a roundabout, a council said.
Molly Millars Lane in Wokingham will be shut at the junction with Finchampstead Road from Monday and is the first of a series of closures there. Diversions will be in place.
Residents and businesses will continue to have access to Molly Millars Lane. Traffic will continue in both directions on Finchampstead Road but temporary lights might be needed at times.
The work is part of Wokingham Council's South Wokingham Distributor Road, external project.
Once Molly Millars Lane reopens, there will be further closures on various sections of Finchampstead Road until March 2026.
