Man charged with murder over resort death

A man has been charged with murder following an alleged altercation in Skegness.

Lincolnshire Police said officers were called to Grosvenor Road shortly before 19:00 BST on Monday.

Rhys Howell, 57, was found with serious injuries and despite being treated by paramedics he died a short time later, the force said.

David Lupton, 60 and of Grosvenor Road, has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on Friday.

Officers have renewed an appeal for anyone with information to get in touch with the force.
