Two men who had been accused of raping the same woman in York have been acquitted by a jury.

Fahim Khan, 18, of Thorpe Lane, Selby, and Zaid Zahir, 20, of Rosebery Street, York, had been on trial at York Crown Court from 17 February.

They were accused of raping a woman in the Piccadilly and North Street areas of the city in the early hours of 28 August.

Both men were found not guilty of rape by a jury on 25 February.
