Man in 60s injured after being hit by car

A man in his 60s was airlifted to hospital following the collision in Berkhamsted

A man in his 60s is being treated in hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a car.
Emergency services were called to Coombe Gardens in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire at about 07:44 GMT on Monday.
The pedestrian was airlifted to hospital while the driver of a black Peugeot 2008 GT remained at the scene and assisted officers with their inquiries.
Hertfordshire Police has appealed for witnesses or those with dashcam footage to contact them.
Sgt Luke Morley said: "I am appealing for witnesses to this collision to contact police to help the investigation into what happened."
