Three men have been spared jail after cannabis with a street value of more than £9,000 was found in one of their homes on the Isle of Man.
Some 465g of cannabis was found in various wraps and containers in Finley Corrin's home in Port Erin along with two cannabis plants, during a police raid on 4 August 2023.
Officers had been following up reports of a smell of cannabis coming from the house.
Corrin, 19, Morgan Baker, 19 and Joshua Maxwell, 19, who all pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply, were called "immature, young fools" by the deemster.
The court heard cannabis paraphernalia, grinders and scales were also found in the raid.
A total of 117 of the cannabis wraps that had been found, had been stashed in a backpack separated into two bin bags, Douglas Courthouse heard.
'Young fools'
Corrin, Maxwell and Baker, who were all at the house at the time of the search, were arrested and £2,000 of criminal cash was found on Baker.
He said he had been given the money to hold by an acquaintance.
The fingerprints of Maxwell and Corrin were found on some of the cannabis wraps, while Baker's fingerprints were found on bin bags used to stash some of the cannabis wraps.
The two cannabis plants were grown by Corrin, which his defence advocate argued was "experimental", adding that the possession of the drugs was to fund his own habit.
All three men pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis with intent to supply, with Corrin also pleading guilty to the cultivation of cannabis and Baker admitting possession of criminal property.
Sentencing the trio Deemster Graeme Cook told them they had all been "immature, young fools".
"There is too much cannabis on this island and you played a part in that, albeit a small part," he said.
Corrin has been handed a 14-month sentence suspended for two years, Baker an 18-month sentence suspended for two years and Maxwell a 16-month sentence suspended for two years.
