Disruption on coast road during stud replacement

The work is set to begin in Ballaugh on Monday

Motorists have been warned to expect disruption on a coastal route in the north of the Isle of Man for the next two weeks during improvement works.
From Monday, daytime rolling closures are set to be put in place on the A10 on weekdays until 26 September during road stud replacement works.
The route runs the length of the island's northern coast from Ramsey to Ballaugh.
Diversion routes will be in place throughout the closures, which will run from 09:30 to 16::30 BST each day.
It marks the latest phase of the center-line road stud replacement programme being carried out on behalf of the Department of Infrastructure by Manx Rock Ltd.
The latest works will be carried out incrementally along the route:
Ballaugh village, via Ballaugh Cronk, to Jurby
Along the Jurby Coast Road, via the Lhen, to Bride
Along the Bride Coast Road to the Grand Island on the outskirts of Ramsey
The department said the closures would be put in place between junctions along the route to allow traffic to be diverted around the work.
Access to properties would be maintained "under local traffic control arrangements" and bus services would also be facilitated, it added.
