Woman charged with murder of 61-year-old man

A 34-year-old woman has been charged with murder after the death of a man in Walden End, Stevenage

A woman has been charged with murder after a 61-year-old was stabbed to death.

Hertfordshire Police was called on 19 June at about 23:50 BST to reports of a serious assault in Walden End, Stevenage.

The victim, Peter Lynch, was taken to hospital with suspected stab wounds and died a short time later.

Erin McNeilly, 34, of Walden End, was charged on Monday with murder in connection with the incident.

She has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on 3 September.
