Chelmsford shows to form part of four-day festival

Olly Murs will be performing his biggest gig in his home county to date

A pair of shows in Essex next year with Justin Timberlake and Olly Murs as headliners will be part of a four-day festival.

Timberlake is due to perform at Chelmsford City Racecourse on 4 July, with local star Murs on the bill two days later.

Organisers have now revealed they are expanding the event into a four-day festival, with more artists to be added to the line-up.

Promoter Ben Hatton, from Southend, remained tight-lipped on who would be added but said: "They are big names."

"We are incredibly excited to get this off the ground," he added.

"I think the people of Essex have wanted this for a long time."
