A 75-year-old man has been charged with preventing the lawful burial of a man whose body was found two days after being reported missing.
The body of Mark Torrington, 54, was found by police officers at an address on Bath Road, Longwell Green, South Gloucestershire, in January 2024.
Robert Jones, of the same address, is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Friday charged with preventing Mr Torrington's lawful burial and perverting the course of justice. He is also charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
"Our thoughts remain with Mark's family who have been updated of the latest development in our investigation," a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said.
