Multiple officers were attacked while attending incidents over the weekend, police have said.
Guernsey Police said eight different assaults were reported, with many involving drunk people fighting in St Peter Port. Arrests were made following each incident.
The force said two of the incidents involved biting and another led to an officer being kicked in the groin, but none of the injuries were serious enough for the victim to be signed off work.
Police said 46 assaults, including headbutts and spitting, have been recorded so far in 2025 and the behaviour "went beyond just resisting being put into handcuffs".
Police said the assaults were "deliberate, aggressive and abhorrent acts".
"It is important to remember that our officers are members of the public too, who come to work and then go home to their families," a force spokesperson said.
"Being bitten and kicked while at work is as bad as it would be for anyone else doing any other day-to-day job."
The spokesperson added there were avenues people could use without resorting to violence if they disagreed with or had concerns about the actions of an officer.
