Thames Valley Police said the officer was injured following a suspected road traffic incident on the B416 Bells Hill, in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire, at 22:20 BST on Thursday.

The 38-year-old man from Slough was also arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and remains in custody.
