Fire crews have been sent to a blaze at a recycling plant in Tipton.

West Midlands Fire Service has sent 10 crews to the incident at Ab Waste Management in Bloomfield Terrace.

A spokesperson for the service said it was called to the scene at 08.30 GMT on Sunday and has urged members of the public to avoid the area.

Six crews were originally sent to the scene, but an additional four trucks were sent as firefighters were struggling with the water pressure on site.

The facility deals with waste disposal and skip hire companies.
