Police appeal after man left with fractured jaw

A man was left with a fractured jaw and nose after an alleged city centre attack police have said.

The man, in his 20s, reported being attacked on Eastgate Street in Gloucester between midnight and 12:35 BST on Saturday 26 October.

He and a woman were walking past a phone shop when a group of men allegedly approached and attacked him - leaving him unconscious.

Gloucestershire Constabulary is asking for mobile phone, dashcam and CCTV footage taken in the area at the time, as well as any other information.
