Man, 77, denies murdering woman

A man has appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to murdering a woman.

Charles Graham, 77, who has been charged with murdering Davinia Graham, 67, on 30 August in Cheltenham, appeared during a short hearing at Bristol Crown Court.

The defendant, of Fairfield Road, Cheltenham, spoke only to confirm his date of birth and plead not guilty during the hearing on Wednesday.

His trial is scheduled to begin on 3 March 2025, and set to run for about one week.

Judge Peter Blair KC, the Recorder of Bristol, fixed a further hearing for 4 February and remanded Mr Graham into custody.

Davinia Graham, known as Dee to her friends, was declared dead by emergency services who were called to an address in Fairfield Road, on 31 August.
