Councillors will consider a planning application for 152 new homes in West Sussex that has attracted more than 200 objections.

Horsham District Council's planning committee is scheduled to decide the outcome of the outline planning application for land west of Ashington Church of England Primary School on 4 November.

The proposal, submitted by Bellway Homes in 2023, includes an all-weather sports pitch, sports pavilion, allotments and a new access road from Church Lane, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.

Objectors raised concerns about traffic and parking. Council officers have recommended the scheme be approved.
