Investigation into large industrial fire begins

Firefighters said they would remain at the scene through the day to prevent hotspots reigniting

An investigation has been launched to find the cause of a large industrial fire in Nottingham.
The fire service said 10 crews were called to tackle the blaze at an old commercial unit in Beauvale Road in The Meadows, just after 21:00 BST on Saturday.
It said firefighters had worked through the night to extinguish the flames.
Nearby properties have been evacuated as the blaze was brought under control.
The scene had been scaled down overnight, the fire service added.
On Sunday, a fire service spokesman said: "The fire is out however firefighters will be in attendance throughout the day to reinspect the building and to make sure there are no further hotspots of fire.
"An investigation into the cause will begin soon."
