Jersey Post raised more than £15,000 for charity

  • Published

More than £15,000 has been raised for a care charity by Jersey Post.

The island's postal service said its 2024 charity of the year was Family Nursing and Home Care.

It said employees raised £15,280 through organised charity raffles, a race night, games and a colour run.

Chief executive Mark Siviter said "community means everything" and Jersey Post was proud to support the island's charities.

Target 'exceeded'

Jersey Post said more than £150,000 had now been raised through its charity of the year since 2013.

Mr Siviter said: "It's so important we all do our bit to support local causes and I'm delighted that so many of our colleagues have got involved and donated so generously to help us exceed our target."

Family Nursing and Home Care chief executive Rosemarie Finley said the support had made a "significant difference".
