A bar linked to violence and anti-social behaviour has been shut down.
Northumbria Police said weapons had been used in Cleo's Bar in Park Lane in Sunderland city centre and it was closing it down for three months.
The closure order bans anyone from going in the premises unless named on a specified list.
A force spokesman said it was hoped the closure would send a "strong message to those who turn a blind eye to criminality".
