Person flown to hospital after serious crash on M2

A person was flown to hospital by air ambulance after a serious crash on the M2.
The collision happened on the London-bound carriageway between junctions 6 for Faversham and 5 for Sheerness.
Police, firefighters and ambulance crews were called to the scene at at 08:39 GMT.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: "One person has been airlifted to a London hospital.
"The road was closed while the incident was attended to and it was reopened at around 14:45 GMT."
