Fifth man arrested in alleyway murder probe

A fifth man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed to death in Stoke-on-Trent.

Thapelo Jali, 21, was found in an alleyway on Buccleuch Road, Normacot, at about 12:50 BST on 22 July and died at the scene.

A 22-year-old man is the latest to be arrested as police continue to investigate Mr Jali's death.

Staffordshire Police has urged anyone with information or CCTV footage to get in touch via an online portal, external.

Ezaan Hussain, 20, Tuheed Hussain, 23, Tayyab Hussain, 26, and Zubair Hussain, 45, all from Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, were charged with murder on Friday.

They are due to appear at Stafford Crown Court on 11 October.
