A major road in Stoke-on-Trent was closed in both directions after a crash.

Police shut the A50 in the Normacot area after a lorry and white Audi crashed on the eastbound carriageway at about 15:45 BST.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said both drivers received minor injuries.

The westbound side of the dual carriageway reopened after about 90 minutes but the eastbound side remained closed for several hours into the evening.
