A Surrey father is launching a charity in memory of his teenage son who died after attending a party in West Sussex last year.
Charlie Cosser, 17, from Milford, in Surrey, died two days after an incident in Warnham, near Horsham, on 23 July.
Martin Cosser is launching Charlie's Promise, which aims to educate people about knife crime as well as offer emotional and financial support to families who have lost a loved one.
Mr Cosser said: "I think this is about making Charlie proud. I'll be honest, that's my motivation."
'Too special'
The charity, which will be officially launched at AFC Wimbledon's Plough Lane on Tuesday, is expected to be part of Charlie's "legacy".
Mr Cosser said: "It's the promise I made to Charlie, and it's the most important promise I've ever ever made,” he added.
"He was too special to be forgotten."
Mr Cosser expected the launch to be "a bit of a roller coaster of emotions."
Mr Cosser described his son as a "beautiful boy" with a "kind heart".
He added: "There are no words for it. There is not a word in the English language that I can tell you how much it has impacted and affected my family.
"We love that little boy so, so, so, so much.”
Since Charlie's death more than £100,000 has been raised for charitable causes.
