Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was sexually assaulted at a bus stop in a Calderdale village.

The victim was attacked outside Christ Church on Brighouse Road, Hipperholme, between 19:20 GMT and 19:50 GMT on 29 November.

While no-one else was present at the bus stop at the time, there were a number of passers-by prior to the sexual assault, according to West Yorkshire Police.

The suspect was described as a white man, in his 40s, of slim build, with grey or silver hair and about 5ft 8ins (172cm) tall, and he was wearing a dark coloured jacket with a navy blue jumper underneath and was carrying a bag of clothes, officers said.

Anyone with information about the incident was asked to contact police.
