Roundabout reopens after tractor hits water valve

A roundabout in Plymouth city centre was partially closed after a tractor hit a water main valve.

Derrys Cross Roundabout was closed at the southern end due to damage to the valve, highways bosses said.

Plymouth Highways also said the closure, which it first published about on social media, external at about 12:30 BST, caused long delays in the area.

Emergency services including police were called to the scene.

Plymouth Highways said at 13:35 the road was fully reopened.
