A woman has died after entering a body of water in Greater Manchester, police have said.

Emergency services were called to Strinesdale Reservoir, near Oldham, on Sunday afternoon at 16:50 BST to reports of a woman getting into difficulty in the water.

The body of a woman was later recovered.

Greater Manchester Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
