A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a cyclist who was involved in a crash in Reading.
Thames Valley Police said a man riding a bike collided with a vehicle on Addington Road in Reading on Wednesday.
The cyclist, 36-year-old Vignesh Raman, was pronounced dead at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
Seven other men, aged between 20 and 48, were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
The crash happened at the road's junction with Cadugan Place at about 23:50 GMT, and the force previously said it was believed the cyclist was then assaulted by someone from the car.
