A man has been arrested after a prisoner absconded from an open jail more than three months ago.

Thames Valley Police had been looking for 38-year-old Michael Gilworth since 27 February when he left HMP Spring Hill in Buckinghamshire.

He had been convicted of robbery, burglary and possession of a blade, police said.

Detectives have now arrested a 38-year-old man in connection with the investigation and have taken him into custody.
