Police have carried out house-to-house inquiries after a petrol bomb was thrown into an islander's garden.

The petrol bomb was thrown in a garden in St Martin between 15:00 BST on Tuesday and 09:30 on Wednesday, said Guernsey Police.

It said officers would be expanding the scope of inquiries as it was "not the first incident of this nature to have happened" after a petrol bomb was also thrown into a drive in St Martin in February.

Police asked anyone with information to get in touch.
