Temporary speed limit on section of TT course

Temporary traffic lights will be in place during working hours

A temporary speed limit has been put in place on a section of the TT course for the removal of roadside vegetation.
The section of the A3 road between Ballig and Glen Helen has been made 30mph (48km/h) for two weeks.
The Department of Infrastructure (DOI) has said the restrictions in the area of the Black Dub were for the "safe removal" of material next to the River Neb.
The department said survey work would undertaken in the area once it has been cleared.
While the temporary speed limit has been put in place until 3 March, the DOI said as long as weather conditions did not "hinder the survey", it was expected to be lifted before that date.
Temporary traffic lights will be in operation during working hours.
