Tractor driver killed in single vehicle collision

A man in his 20s has been killed in a single vehicle crash involving a tractor, police have said.
Emergency services were called to Old Birdlip Hill, A417, in Witcombe, near Gloucester at 14:30 BST on Thursday to reports of a collision.
The driver of the tractor, from Wiltshire, was pronounced dead at the scene, Gloucestershire Police said.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers, the force said.
Road closures remain in place at the from the bottom of Old Birdlip Hill at the A435 Cirencester Road in Little Witcombe and on Ermin Way in Brockworth.
The closures are expected to remain in place into Friday morning and drivers are asked to avoid the area.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or may have relevant dashcam footage is asked to contact police.
