Murder investigation launched after man's death

A murder investigation is under way following the death of a 69-year-old man in Lincoln.
Officers said they attended Portland Street following a call on Tuesday morning and found John Connelly deceased inside a property.
His next of kin were aware and are being supported by specially trained officers, Lincolnshire Police said.
A spokesperson for the force said officers were working to establish the circumstances surrounding his death.
A scene guard is in place and police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on 101.
