Fundraisers sporting bras and pants are set to stride out across a country park to raise money for charity.

The Freeze Your Bits and Bobs Off (FYBBO) Walk takes place on Sunday 12 January at Bradgate Park in Leicestershire.

Last year's Freeze Your Bits Off walk, organised by Bradgate Rotary Club, saw £16,000 raised to refurbish Glenfield Hospital's Breast Care Centre.

This year the event has been extended to include Bobs - as money raised will be going to local charity Prostaid, as well as Breast Cancer Now.

Less hardy souls do not need to worry, the club said, as other clothing can be worn as needed underneath people's decorated bras and pants.

Organiser Lesley Trivett said pants had been added to the event, following the death of a rotary club member to prostate cancer since last year.

She said: "We did it in January, we had 270 walkers and it was a most joyous day.

"Dogs were even dressed up in bras as well as the people, everyone really entered into the spirit of it.

"Some of the creations that people made were really inventive, people went to town on it - one man had windmills on his bra.

"You wear your items over your main clothes, it's not about going out in the skinny and only wearing a bra and pants!"

The walk begins at 10:00 GMT, from the Newtown Linford entrance to the park, and is 3.5 miles long along mostly flat, wheelchair-friendly pathways.

Entrance costs £10, via the rotary club's website, and includes a goodie bag and a warm soup at the finish.
