Tributes have been paid to a mother described as a "generous soul" after she was killed in a car crash.
The family of Joanna Hills, 36, from Hullbridge, Essex, said she would "do anything for anyone".
She died in a four-vehicle collision at the junction of Fambridge Road and Lower Burnham Road, Althorne, close to Burnham-on-Crouch, at about 18:30 BST on 1 October, Essex Police said.
In a statement released by police, Ms Hills' family said: "She was a kind and generous soul who would do anything for anyone, regardless of the situation."
They added: "Joanna is a much-loved daughter, granddaughter, mother, partner, sister and friend.
"She will be truly missed and never replaced."
A man in his 30s from Grays has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving - and driving while unfit through drink or drugs.
A man in his 70s was also pronounced dead at the scene, and has not yet been named by police.
Another man was taken to hospital with serious injuries described as life-changing but not life-threatening.
The force said it wanted the occupants of a blue Mini, with a white/light coloured roof and white wing mirrors, to come forward as it believes they were in the area at the time of the collision and they could have vital information that could help the investigation.
