A man has been arrested on suspicion of raping a 17-year-old girl in Leeds city centre.
West Yorkshire Police said the girl had been approached by a man in the early hours of Sunday morning after leaving The Backroom bar in Call Lane.
The force said the victim was then taken to a nearby location where she was attacked before being left in Assembly Street.
A police spokesperson said a man arrested in connection with the incident remained in custody.
Appealing for information, Det Insp Hannah Dixon said: "This incident happened in the city centre in the early hours of a weekend morning when there were many people in the area on a night out who may have seen something that could assist our investigation.
"I would like to ask anyone who was in the Call Lane area at this time who may have seen a man assisting or attempting to assist a young female, to please come forward."
