Four charged with conspiring to pervert course of justice

Four people are due to appear in court in Bradford charged with conspiring to pervert the course of justice.

The charges related to an incident in 2022 where it was alleged that a witness was approached following a trial relating to child sexual offences, according to West Yorkshire Police.

Yasmin Ashraf, 58, of Shapla Close, Keighley, Ashleigh Narey, 31, of Beauvais Drive, Keighley, Omar Safdar, 33, formerly of Keighley, and Sajidah Hussain, 36, of Alma Place, Bradford, had all been charged and bailed, a force spokesperson said.

All four were due to appear at Bradford Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 30 September, they added.
