The closure comes after the collapse of construction giant ISG

An architectural and structural glazing business from Surrey has entered administration amid the continuing fallout from the collapse of construction giant ISG.

Vitrine Systems, based in Camberley, said its operation was no longer viable due to "large bad debt" and lost projects in the pipeline.

All 23 jobs at the specialist company have been lost, said administrators.

"It is deeply regrettable that Vitrine Systems has been forced to cease trading, due to a series of challenging circumstances," said Nick Simmonds, managing director of the business advisory group Quantuma.

"This was a sad ending for a well-established company," he added.

Vitrine Systems, founded in 1995, reported turnover of around £8.8m in 2023.

ISG - the sixth largest construction firm in the UK - collapsed in September, making 2,200 workers redundant.

The boss of an industry trade body said at the time its closures would put the future of many smaller firms in the supply chain at risk.
