An appeal has been launched after a woman in her 40s was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a three-vehicle crash in Surrey.

Police said the crash happened in Crooksbury Road in Tilford at about 08:00 BST on Monday.

Three people were taken to hospital, South East Coast Ambulance Service added.

Traffic monitoring system Inrix said a section of the road was still closed at 17:00.

Police said they were trying to establish the movements of a silver Land Rover Discovery that was in the area at the time.

Anyone with information which could help police is asked to contact the force.
