Fire crews worked through the night to contain a fire that tore through farm buildings.

People living near the scene of the blaze in Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex, were advised to keep windows and doors shut.

Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters were called to the building near Marsh Road at about 16:00 BST.

Station manager Scott Fretton said an investigation would be carried out when the fire was extinguished.
