Two men have appeared in court after 200kg of fireworks were seized from a storage locker in West Lothian.

Jack Peterson, 18, and Tee'jay Brammer, 25, were arrested following police raids on a number of properties in the Granton and Pilton areas in the run up to Bonfire Night.

Officers searched homes in West Granton Road, West Pilton Lea, West Pilton Street, West Pilton Place and Bughtlin Place in the city after a large quantity of pyrotechnics were discovered in the unit in East Calder on 15 October.

Peterson and Brammer both made no plea to conspiracy charges during separate appearances at Edinburgh Sheriff Court and were granted bail to appear again at a later date.
