A busy dual carriageway has reopened after it was closed southbound due to a crash involving three vehicles.

National Highways said the A5 at Milton Keynes was shut between the A422 (Monks Way Interchange) and the A509 (Milton Keynes) on Wednesday morning, for more than an hour.

Thames Valley Police attended the scene, along with National Highways officers to help with clear-up work.

Long delays were reported in the area.
